About the Director:
Calvary Online School’s Director, Jared Beck, is an experienced innovator in online education. He brings to the school a unique set of qualities to provide the vision, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver a successful educational experience to Calvary Online School students and their families.
Mr. Beck is a credentialed administrator in the State of California, also holding a valid California Teaching Credential as well. His experience in Christian education stems from his undergraduate and graduate degrees earned at prominent Christian universities: Point Loma Nazarene University where he earned a BA in Philosophy and Theology and Azusa Pacific University where he earned a Single Subject Teaching Credential in the Social Sciences. Mr. Beck’s experience in online education is demonstrated in his having established and maintained a successful online education program in a California public school. In addition, Mr. Beck runs a website database of online schools and information regarding the online school movement.
As a practicing Christian, Mr. Beck has been a lifelong member of Calvary Chapel of Santa Barbara and for several years has been attending Calvary Chapel of Escondido with his wife and two children. In addition, Mr. Beck has served at Calvary Chapel Molokai and Calvary Chapel Tiberias on short term missions.
