About the Director

Calvary Preparatory Academy’s Director, Jared Beck, is an experienced innovator in online education. He brings to the school a unique set of qualities to provide the vision, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver a successful educational experience to Calvary Preparatory Academy students and their families.

Mr. Beck is a credentialed administrator in the State of California, also holding a valid California Teaching Credential as well. His experience in Christian education stems from his undergraduate and graduate degrees earned at prominent Christian universities: Point Loma Nazarene University where he earned a BA in Philosophy and Theology and Azusa Pacific University where he earned a Single Subject Teaching Credential in the Social Sciences. Mr. Beck returned to both universities for graduate school, completing a Clear Administrative Services Credential with Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master’s Degree in Education with Azusa Pacific University. Mr. Beck’s experience in online education is demonstrated in his having established and maintained a successful online education program in a California public school prior to the founding of Calvary Preparatory Academy.

As a practicing Christian, Mr. Beck has been a lifelong member of Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara with his wife and two children. In addition, Mr. Beck has served at Calvary Chapel Molokai and Calvary Chapel Tiberias on short-term missions. Additionally, Mr. Beck has had the privilege of serving as a board member for a 120 year-old Jewish Christian organization known as the American European Bethel Mission.
