Jeanne Richardson
Temecula, CA
Biography:
My name is Jeanne Richardson. I accepted Jesus into my heart at the age of five and for the past almost 40 years I have been walking with my Lord. My husband and I have attended Calvary Chapel Escondido for the last 13 years.
I received my multiple-subject teaching credential in 1990 and then continued on to get my masters degree in education with an emphasis in language acquisition. In the past twenty years I have taught in both the private and public sectors at every grade level from kindergarten to adult education classes. In 1999 I began homeschooling my firstborn, and quickly learned how vastly different homeschooling is from classroom instruction! I now have eleven years experience homeschooling my own children and am on the brink of graduating my oldest. Currently my children are in 11th, 9th, 7th, 5th and 2nd grades.
Beyond raising my own family, my passion is helping others train up the next generation and encouraging them to seek first the kingdom of God. It is very easy, especially as a homeschooling parent, to be overwhelmed and to question one’s competence at raising, let alone schooling, children. My goal is to come alongside homeschooling parents and encourage them from my own training and experience.
Teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children…-
