We are excited for the start of the 2020/21 school year here at Calvary Preparatory Academy! As we approach the first day of school, here are some quick tips to help you prepare: 1. Be Sure You’ve Finished the Enrollment Procedure After you registered, you should have been contacted by our Admission Coordinator, Mrs. Eleni Gillis, with the steps needed to complete your enrollment. If you haven’t completed these steps, in particular the ones concerning the Enrollment Agreement Signature Page* and tuition payment,** then you are not yet cleared to begin on Monday. Students with incomplete enrollments will have access to the Orientation class, but they won’t be able to begin their actual schoolwork …
When you are transitioning from a traditional school to an online school, you will find that a different approach to learning is necessary. Most students have always desired a bit of independence. Online learning lends itself to that independence! You now have the opportunity to be in control of when and where you want to do your work; however, you will find it also requires you to be on your toes a bit more because you DO have that flexibility.
