The following Christian online high school course selection guide serves as a general path to meet the Calvary Preparatory Academy graduation requirements. Individual plans may vary. Alternate course selection may be necessary to meet various college eligibility requirements. The timing of when certain courses are taken may vary. Only the English classes are specific to particular grades and even those may be taken at different times due to scheduling. For example, World History might be taken in grade 9 or in grade 10. Most classes are year long, two semester classes unless separated by “/” in which case they are single semesters. Again, the order of those semesters may not matter. Courses marked with “*” are required to graduate, whereas courses in parenthesis are suggested, but optional. Please review our online Christian high school graduation requirements for more details.

Freshmen Grade 9:

  • English 9 A & B*
  • Tenets of the Christian Faith*/ Old Testament Survey*
  • Math Year 1 *(Class selection varies based on previously completed class and/or assessment results. If Pre-Algebra last year, then Algebra, then Geometry, then Algebra 2, etc.)
  • Science Year 1 * (Generally Earth Science-then Biology in 10th grade[easier approach] or Biology-then Chemistry in 10th grade [harder approach])
  • (World Geography A & B) or Foreign Language Year 1* or Fine Art Year 1*
  • PE Year 1,* or Health*/ An Elective,* or Other Graduation Requirements*

Sophomore Grade 10:

  • English 10 A & B*
  • Math Year 2 *
  • Science Year 2* (If Earth Last year, then Biology. If Biology last year, then Chemistry)
  • World History A & B*
  • (Foreign Language Year 2), (PE Year 2), a Year of Electives,* or Other Graduation Requirements*

Junior Grade 11:
