Use Your Education Savings Account at Calvary Prep Academy
Calvary Preparatory Academy is an approved ESA provider in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wyoming. If your family participates in an Education Savings Account (ESA) program, you may be able to use those funds to cover tuition at CPA. We’re proud to make a Christ-centered, WASC-accredited education accessible to more families through these programs.
ESA program details change from year to year. The information below reflects our understanding as of July 2026 — please confirm current eligibility, award amounts, and deadlines directly with the Tennessee Department of Education before making enrollment decisions.
What Is an ESA?
An Education Savings Account (ESA) is a state-funded account that gives families the freedom to direct their child’s education dollars toward the school or program that best fits their needs — including accredited private and online schools like Calvary Prep Academy. ESA funds can typically be used for tuition, enrollment fees, and qualifying educational expenses. Each state program has its own eligibility requirements, award amounts, and application process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my ESA funds to cover the enrollment fee?
ESA funds can typically be used for tuition and qualifying educational expenses. The enrollment fee ($175 for full-time, $50 for part-time) may or may not be covered depending on your state’s program guidelines. Contact your ESA program administrator to confirm.
What if my state isn’t listed here?
We are actively pursuing ESA provider approval in additional states. If your state isn’t listed, contact us — we may be in the process of getting approved, or we can help you explore other payment options including our scholarship programs.
Do I need to re-apply each school year?
ESA eligibility and renewal requirements vary by state. Check with your state’s program portal for renewal deadlines. CPA will work with you each year to provide the documentation needed for your payments.
Can I use ESA funds for part-time enrollment or a single course?
Yes — CPA offers both full-time and single-course enrollment. ESA fund usage for partial enrollment may depend on your state’s rules; contact your ESA administrator to confirm.
Who decides if I qualify and how much I receive?
Eligibility, award amounts, and priority status are determined entirely by your state’s program administrator — not by Calvary Prep Academy. We’re happy to help with the enrollment side, but questions about your specific eligibility, award amount, or application status should go directly to your state’s ESA program. See your state’s page above for the correct contact.
Please Note: ESA program rules, eligibility requirements, award amounts, and application deadlines are set and administered by each individual state — not by Calvary Preparatory Academy. Before making any enrollment or financial decisions, please confirm current details directly with your state’s ESA program administrator.
