Although it feels like a long way away, time will fly faster than you know and it’s over! Be sure to plan with the end in mind as we speed to the finish line. Finish strong!
Here are this week’s announcements:CONGRATULATIONS TO WINNERS OF THE TALENT SHOW!
In the Sports category, Melody Buttram inspired us all with her dance of praise and took home the 1st place prize for her category. In the Vocals category, Leah Kolmus won 1st place with her performance of “Tell Me About My Jesus.” In the Arts category, Gabriel Woodcook created a movie trailer and won 1st place. In the Instruments category, Richard Mutangi won 1st place. And, last but not least, Aaron Finch, won Best Overall with his guitar solo! If you missed the show, check it out HERE!
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK IS NEXT WEEK
Now is the time to start thinking about how you would like to honor your teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week. If you are interested in giving a gift to your teacher, check out this list of “Favorite Things” for each of our CPA teachers – but, please know that gifts are optional. Your teachers would love a word of encouragement or thanks for all their hard work.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER: Thursday, May 5
Join us for a Zoom prayer meeting on May 5th at 8 AM PST to honor National Day of Prayer. Last year, this was a very rich time of prayer and encouragement for our school body. Please sign up for your zoom link if you are interested in attending and post any prayer requests you want prayed over at the event.

GRADUATING SENIORS: ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO COMPLETE THE GRADUATION CHECKLIST
PHOTO DEADLINE: MAY 1ST.
If you are a graduating senior, you have been contacted by Mrs. Beck in the last two weeks requesting outstanding items needed in order to graduate and participate in the ceremony, whether you will be participating online or in-person. You only have two weeks left to get all the details of your graduation checklist complete, including sending in a photo for the graduation ceremony. If you do not send in your photo, you will not be included in the ceremony. Please contact Mrs. Beck with any quest
